- Light emitted from the lighting unit passes through the transparent side view component
and illuminates the entire piece of work. Light reflected back from the work is reflected and
refracted within the transparent component and enters the camera. This makes it possible to
obtain an image of the sides of the work. The combination of the RDD100 and the transparent
side view component enables simultaneous inspection of the surface andsides of the work, for
a major reduction of inspection time.
