330 Series: MSC Moisture Canopies

Large-sized Vacuum Hot Tables, Heated Suction Tables and Direct Suction Tables can make rigid MSC Acrylic Humidification Domes impractical. An alternative at these sizes is the MSC Moisture Canopy. Canopies create large-scale moisture relaxation zones on a table with easy access, while being able to be rolled up and stored compactly when not in use.

Connect an Ultrasonic Humidifier to the moisture intake port on one end of the canopy. The enclosed canopy retains a desired humidity level during treatments such as moisture relaxation, conditioning, wetting and relining. Lightweight and optically clear, it is easy to observe and perform treatments on works of art inside of the canopy. Unzip any one of the vinyl panels to allow entry into the canopy to perform work without releasing the entire moistened atmosphere.

FEATURES

Installation is easy. Assemble the aluminum support table frame around the perimeter of the treatment table. Unroll the canopy and determine how many sections should be assembled to create a canopy sized exactly for the projects’ needs. Insert the fiberglass poles and install them into the holes on the aluminum support frame. Attach an Ultrasonic Humidifier via hose to one of the canopy endcaps and begin humidification.

Each Moisture Canopy is approximately 23 inches (58 cm) high inside, giving plenty of workspace room to create a humidified environment without condensation or dripping onto the work below. Zippered access to the humidified environment is available on each canopy panel.

The MSC Moisture Canopy is made of sturdy 14-mil thick clear vinyl and is resistant to water and most solvents. Panels connect via VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener for easy, secure assembly. Cleanup after treatments is easy; simply allow the canopy to air dry, disassemble and roll up the vinyl panels for storage. Pair the MSC Moisture Canopy with the Digital Moisture Controller for exacting control over the moisture levels in the canopy enclosure.
