CLARITY 技術是一種將完整組織以化學轉型 (chemical transformation) 方式變成組織水凝膠混合體 (hydrogel-tissue hybrid) 的流程，使生物軟組織樣品 (如, 腦, 肝, 脾臟, 心臟 .. 等器官) , 轉換為澄清透明狀態, 並且維持組織內的細部結構及分子組成，(也因為去除脂質) 可讓任何光源更容易穿透，不僅可以獲得更高的成像品質, 也可獲得更深層的器官組織的清晰成像, 此一成果, 也讓應用各種螢光染劑在完整組織上。此技術已取代腦切片的成像研究. 類似的組織澄清技術包括 SWITCH, MAP.

Our 2nd-generation buffers allow you to process up to 8 mouse brain hemispheres (or equivalent size samples) simultaneously, or 24 samples over the span of 10 days. Optical Clearing Solution
Our 500-mL bottle can be used for up to 12 whole mouse brains or 200+ 1 mm-thick tissue sections! EasyIndex is the most economical option guaranteeing best refractive index matching results (RI = 1.52 standard; RI = 1.46 available on request). Intact tissues are rendered optically transparent and are optimally prepared for volumetric imaging with SmartSPIM or other microscopes.
EasyIndex is ideal for use with:
- Cleared tissues using aqueous-based methods and others
- Immunolabeled tissues
